Help Fight the Bite

June 16-22, 2024 is National Mosquito Control Awarness week!

Below you will find the most common places around ones home that mosqutioes may be living in. It's important to be vigilant and proactive about reducing mosqutio breeding sites along with places they may take shelter.

How to reduce mosqutio breeding sites around ones home?

  • Mosquitoes only need a small amount of water to lay eggs on. The life cycle from egg to adult takes about 7-10 days.
  • Kiddie pools, dog water bowls, or anything that can collect water, change water out more frequently or drain/dump any excess standing water.
  • Make sure rain gutters are free of debris and can function properly.
  • Ensure window boxes have proper drainage to reduce standing water.
